The Link School specialises in meeting the needs of students who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and provides placements for students from a wide range of local authorities.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how students perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
he majority of children in Oak class have been in the school for a long period of time and have benefitted from the specialised teaching approaches and therapies. Learning to learn skills are generally established and the children are able to access the curriculum at their pace within whole and small group settings. The children continue to benefit from specialised approaches, including colourful semantics and sensory and emotional regulation activities. Pupils are beginning to focus on understanding their personal strengths and difficulties related to their disability in order to prepare for secondary education.
