At the Link Satellite, we cater our enrichment activities to accommodate the individual needs of the children.
Examples of workshops we have had include a DJ tutor coming in to teach the learners how to mix music together; African drumming, and cats protection have even come in with a cat.
We have a number of different therapies and weekly activities that some students can access including weekly Crystal Palace football club sessions, weekly horse-riding,  twice a week canine assisted learning, play therapy and individual Mindjam sessions, which is a gaming therapy with tutors that play online games with the learners.

Also, we have a school council that helped with raising money for the environment through selling self-published books at the Christmas fair; we went to the garden centre to choose plants to help our outdoor area and we conducted surveys to greater understand how others would like to improve the school.

This year 2023-24,  we have new members with the aim of:
  • Raising money for charity, especially Ukraine, through bake sales or charity football matches.
  • Making our way to becoming 0% waste within the next 5 years.
  • Starting clubs for learners to be a part of.
  • Planning events for learners, families and local community.
  • Exploring technology and how it can help our peers develop a curriculum
