The Link School choir brings joy to local care home
Students from The Link School recently spent a joyful morning at Grasmere Rest Home in Sutton, where their choir delivered a heartwarming performance for residents and staff.
The choir sang a lively mix of nostalgic favourites and upbeat classics from years gone by, alongside a few modern numbers, creating a wonderful atmosphere that truly brought generations together. Much-loved songs such as Sweet Caroline and We’ll Meet Again had everyone joining in, with residents, staff and students singing and dancing side by side.
The visit was a fantastic opportunity for students to share their talents while connecting with the local community. Spirits were lifted throughout the morning, and the room was filled with music and big smiles.
It was a memorable experience for everyone involved, and a perfect example of how music can bring people together.
