Students Win Dance Competition
Students took part in South London regional dance competition which is part of the London Youth Games, they were the only SEND school to compete. They chose to perform to the track ‘Power’ by Little Mix which is a celebration of strength, individuality, and confidence – attributes that sit well with their school values.
With bold movements, dynamic transitions, and teamwork at its heart, their routine reflected empowerment, unity, and pride in who they are. Each step was filled with energy and determination, proving that together, they can do anything. Students only had 3 weeks to learn and practice the routine, but they still won competition!
As a result of their regional win, they will now go on to perform at the London Youth Games Finals in July, which will take place at the Copperbox on the old Olympic Site.
