Our Harvest Festival assemblies took place this week and once again we have to thank everyone for sending in donations. This year we collected items for The Trussell Trust who work to stop UK hunger
and poverty. Their network of foodbanks provides emergency food and support to people in crisis and we will be delivering our food to St. Michaels & All Angels Church in Milton Road, Wallington next week.

Mother Berni will be collecting the food on behalf of The Trussell Trust and will be giving the group a tour of the church, the church garden and will explain more about the food bank.
Sue Denman led our first celebration on Monday during our Special Moments Assembly. It was a lovely occasion. The children all brought in their donations and we took time to think about people not
having enough to eat. The children brought up leaves expressing their favorite food and added them to a special tree. The assembly finished with harvest
songs.

Our sensory harvest assembly took place on Wednesday and was led by Catherine. The children really got involved and loved seeing Catherine dressed as a scarecrow, in fact due to popular demand, she re-create the session in class the next day!
