Celebrating Vipul’s Success
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of one of our former students, Vipul, whose journey from The Link School to a permanent role within a hospital setting highlights the powerful impact of the right support at the right time.
After leaving The Link School, Vipul progressed on to Carshalton College, where he continued to develop his skills, confidence, and independence. With tailored guidance and encouragement, he was supported to explore future pathways and prepare for the world of work.
This led to the opportunity to undertake a Supported Internship, a vital stepping stone that enables young people to gain real-world experience, develop workplace skills, and grow in confidence within a supportive and inclusive environment. Following the successful completion of the internship, Vipul was delighted to be offered a permanent role working within a hospital environment, marking a significant personal and professional milestone.
This achievement is a wonderful example of how specialist schools like The Link School support SEND learners not only during their time in education, but well beyond it. From personalised learning and transition planning to ongoing guidance into further education and employment, we are committed to helping every student understand their options and take positive steps towards their future.
