The Link School specialises in meeting the needs of students who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and provides placements for students from a wide range of local authorities.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how students perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
Our small special school values all our learners equally, recognising their individual strengths, barriers and aspirations. It provides a calm and nurturing environment in which to flourish.
View PageStudents at The Link School often choose to stay on after their Year 11 studies and join our Sixth Form in order to prepare for their adult lives. We also welcome students from other schools who meet our admission criteria.
View PageJoin us for the first of our Autumn Term Open Events and discover more about life at The Link School Secondary. It’s an opportunity to see our school in action, learn more about how we support our learners and explore whether The Link could be the right place for your young person to fulfil their potential.
The event will begin at 9.30am with a welcome and talk from our Principal, Mr Joe Shepherd, followed by a tour of the school. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to meet staff and learners, see our facilities and learning environment, and ask any questions you may have.
The event will finish at approximately 11am.
Please arrive promptly for the 9.30am start. This is a scheduled event rather than a drop-in session, so we ask visitors to arrive in time for the Principal’s welcome and talk.
