The Link School specialises in meeting the needs of students who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and provides placements for students from a wide range of local authorities.
This section provides key information including how the school spends the funding it receives, its policies and procedures, how students perform in exams and assessment, inspection information and the schools self-evaluation.
25 October 2024 Update
The outbuildings are almost finished externally ready for the doors and windows to be installed this weekend and the Aco-drains have been installed.
Internally, fireboard has been installed in both outbuildings. The majority of the timber close-boarded fence has been installed and the external surface is ready for paving slabs and artificial grass.
Next week, nosings and handrails will be installed along with rainwater goods. All remaining vinyl will be installed and decorating and electrical second fix will take place.

14 October 2024 Update
Great progress has been made in preparing an additional learning environment for up to 12 PDA students.
The new site is on the Carew Academy estate which is also part of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust and close to The Link School.
Work is progressing well and the outdoor rooms are under construction. The front garden area has been cleared ready for artificial grass to be installed. Concrete bases have been completed for the outbuildings and the timber frame construction is underway.
