Celebrating Successes

Monday night was an evening dedicated to celebrating the academic successes of students at The Link Secondary site. Sandy was very proud of their achievements and reflected on how hard the students had worked. This was the first time we have put on an event like this, and it was great to see so many parents, family members and students enjoying the evening.
We would like to say a big thank you to David (Eben’s Dad) who volunteered to provide the lighting and music for the event which made it really special. The hall looked fantastic. Thank you to Eben who also carefully chose a different upbeat track for each of the students to listen to as they came up for their award.
Ben made it even more special when he finished the evening by giving a wonderful and emotional performance of Robbie Williams’ ‘I love my life’.
Plans are already underway to make the event an even bigger celebration next year.
