During this term, students from the secondary site (across KS3 and 4) are taking part in the BRIT Community Reach project. Year 13 students at the BRIT school, along with their course leader, are working with schools within the Croydon area, offering the opportunity to create a production.

In small groups, the students are devising their own performance piece about diversity and what diversity means to them. Each group will then blend their pieces to make a final performance which will be performed on 12th July in the theatre at the BRIT School. Students are very excited about being involved in this creative process and have been very engaged and delighted to attend the workshops.

We feel that this is an amazing opportunity for students to explore their ideas and experience this creative process. It is important that students not only have the opportunity to feel seen and heard but also to explore the chance to increase a sense of self-worth and self-esteem. We are very much looking forward to their final production!
