Bowling success at Panathlon competition
The Link School was delighted to take part in the recent Panathlon Bowling Competition, where students enjoyed a fantastic day of inclusive sport and teamwork.
Two teams proudly represented the school – one from Key Stage 3 and another from Key Stages 4 and 5. From the very first round, both teams showed great enthusiasm and determination, achieving some impressive scores across ten rounds of bowling.
There were some standout performances throughout the day, including several half strikes and a brilliant full strike from Haidar, who achieved the highest score for the KS3 team. Luke also delivered an excellent performance, securing the top score for the KS4/5 team.
At the end of the competition, The Link School was thrilled to be awarded first place medals, a fantastic achievement for all involved.
It was a truly positive and inclusive day, celebrating participation, teamwork, and success. Well done to all our students for representing the school so brilliantly!
