What a lovely day we all had last Saturday, when we held The Link Association Summer Fair. Our thanks to everyone who made the day such a success,
with a special mention to Claire Hartland, who spearheaded the event It was very well attended and so lovely to see so many former pupils and their families join us.
It is at times like these, when it is drawn to your attention just how special The Link is. One family, whose son left us a few years ago told us they still go onto the website every week to read our newsletter. They love to see what is going on and just had to come along to the fair to see us all again. Former pupils so keen to say hello and tell us all their news –
one has just finished her GCSEs; another now aged 30 is running a youth club; another at art college and playing in a band.
One parent said to visit The Link is ‘like coming home’. “Overcoming barriers today so that children and parents can look forward to a bright future tomorrow” Our ethos rings true.
